Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the Ranga app collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. Ranga is made by Immaculate Lux LLC, a Michigan limited liability company ("we," "us"). If you have questions, contact us at [email protected].
The short version
- We collect what we need to build and run your plan: your account, your answers, your practice activity, and anything you choose to write in your journal.
- We don't sell your information, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
- You can delete your account and your data at any time.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign up with email, Sign in with Apple or Google sign-in, we receive your email address and an account identifier. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we receive a private relay address instead. Apple or Google may also share your name if you allow it.
- Your answers. Your onboarding answers (meditation experience, preferred session length, time of day, and what brought you to Ranga), your assessment answers, the chakra scores calculated from them, and any rating you give of how accurate your results feel.
- Your plan and practice activity. The plans we create for you, which practices you start, finish or skip, and when.
- Check-ins. The short ratings you give after each session.
- Journal entries. Anything you choose to type in response to a journaling prompt. Journaling is always optional. When you save an entry, the app checks it on your device for words that may signal a crisis, so it can show you support resources. That check happens on your phone; it does not send your entry anywhere or alert anyone.
- Reminders. If you turn on reminders, we store a notification token for your device and your chosen reminder time, so we can send them.
- Subscriptions. If you subscribe, the App Store or Google Play processes your payment. We never receive your card details. We receive your subscription status (for example, active, in trial, or expired) through our subscription provider, RevenueCat.
- Technical information. Like most online services, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical details when the app connects to our servers, such as IP address, device type and the time of the request. These logs are used to keep the service secure and working.
- What we don't collect. We don't collect your location, contacts, photos, or data from Apple Health or Google Fit. We don't use advertising or analytics tools in the app.
How we use your information
We do not use your journal entries, answers or check-ins for advertising, and we do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- To create your account and sign you in.
- To score your assessment, show your results, and build and adjust your 7-day plan.
- To show your history, journal and progress back to you.
- To send reminders you have turned on.
- To manage your subscription, if you have one.
- To respond to your support requests.
- To keep Ranga secure, fix problems and improve the app.
- To comply with the law.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Ranga, and only as needed for them to do so.

We may also share information if required by law, to protect the safety of any person, or as part of a merger, sale or transfer of our business, in which case this policy will continue to apply to your information.
How we protect and store your information
Your information is encrypted in transit and stored with access controls that limit each account to its own data. Our servers are operated by Supabase in the United States. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your personal information, including your journal entries, within 30 days, except where we must keep something to comply with the law. Deleted data may remain in encrypted backups for up to 30 more days before it is overwritten.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under local law. Contact us to exercise any of them. We will not treat you differently for doing so.
- Delete your account: in the app under Settings, or by emailing us. This deletes your account and the data linked to it.
- Access or correct your information: email us and we'll help.
- Get a copy of your data: email us and we'll send you your answers, plan history, check-ins and journal entries.
- Skip what you don't want to share: journaling and reminders are optional.
Children
Ranga is intended for people 17 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
A note about wellness
Ranga supports reflection and relaxation. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for medical or mental health care. If you are in crisis in the US, call or text 988.
Changes to this policy
If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. The effective date above shows when this policy was last updated.
